BELGRAVIA

Local area overview

Belgravia today is London at its most elegant with its grand Regency properties, immaculately maintained streets, beautiful gardens, open spaces and secluded mews. It nurtures a thriving culture of its own and combines international names in retail, hotels and restaurants while at the same time being home to local delis, bars and corner shops.

The district is roughly bounded by Knightsbridge to the north, Buckingham Palace to the east and Pimlico and Sloane Street to the south and west.

Even though you are only a few minutes walk from the luxury shops of Knightsbridge and the designer heaven of Sloane Street, the area does not allow a glut of retail outlets. The shopping streets that do exist include the charming Motcomb Street and Elizabeth Street, which are both hosts to much-loved annual summer street parties.

Belgravia is not decimated by busy office buildings which helps to maintain the genteel nature of the area.
